Dunlavin Craft Fair

Last week was a really busy week and I had a good day yesterday at the Dunlavin Craft Fair. It was busy and there was a great mix of people who turned up. The weather stayed nice apart from a quick shower so people were able to move about freely to visit all the attractions without having to duck into doorways. The best moment of the day for me however was when an elderly woman came to my stall and was looking at one of my iPad covers, she was frowning and after a while I said to her 'it's an iPad cover' to which she replied 'I know, I'm just wondering if it would fit my android tablet' ! it was so funny, so the lesson is: Don't make presumptions!

I have a lot on this week, there are only 2 weeks left before the kids are off school. Jack being 12 is well able to look after himself but Sophie is full on attention so I'm afraid I won't be able to produce anything at all during the day so I've really got to make the most of these weeks.

I'm working on patterns for some soft toys and maybe some rag dolls. I think it might be nice to make some fun stuff and mess about with some different fabrics. I also need to work on some more cushions too. Mostly though I need to work on my quilt for the Atlanta quilt swap. I hope everyone has a happy and productive week :)
